A Tumbling Tea Party

An all time favourite of mine, Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I created this for a 3d bird house project. Lots of collage, sticky craft glue and oh-so careful application of it all. The characters come to life as they tumble out of the story book. I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and wish you a brilliant Blue New Year!

Hi Antonia,
That's so clever! I am big on Alice myself and I love house models and dioramas. The tumbling characters are gorgeous and the roof made out of a book is so cool!

Thanks Sandra, you certainly have a knack for the odd 3d piece! I'm sure you'd agree it's a refreshing angle on illustration. A little tricky...A little messy... But a lot of fun :)

Hi Antonia,
I saw your article published in the Melbourne Times regarding your Koko Black prize etc. I just wanted to say i think you are an amazing artist any chance you will have a showing soon as I love your rabbits and alice in wonderland set and love the fact that you are a Melbourne based Illustraor so local.
Keep up the great work.
